There is more to ART than just painting a pretty picture, is what I have discovered along my journey of painting original abstracts for modern contemporary spaces.  Abstract Art triggers imagination and the power of color, influences your energy. I am influenced and inspired by minimalist and the colorfield artists like Jonas Gerard, and well known ones like Mark Rothko and JW Turner. I have transformed some of these qualities and questions that they brought up, into my own explorative original artworks using energetic colors and textures in oils/acrylics and mixed media, and never compromising on quality of paints and canvas used.  My intent is, to develop an abstract visual vocabulary and initiate a non verbal dialogue - using an innate sense of relationships which takes the viewer to both somewhere new and somewhere in the subconscious, at the same time. With the copper, gold and silver leaf additions to my artwork, a fluid element is added on, with tones changing from different vantage points.

My work has been bought by art collectors from around the globe. Several original works are on display at a few chosen galleries within the UAE and in Europe. I was invited to participate at the Florence Biennale in 2009. Commissioning art for the hospitality and retail sector has been the main focus to date. My artworks, now grace many five star hotel lobbies and reception foyers, business centers, restaurants, lounges and even presidential suites, as well as, at Dubai Marina yacht club too. Creating original abstract contemporary art, for commercial/ turnkey projects and individually owned signature villas around the Middle East and North Africa, has kept me immersed in creating new original art constantly.. 15 of my artworks have also been chosen by Authors of short story and poems in N.America - as book covers. My work has also featured in ID and Art magazines over the past few years in this region.
